Sustainability

We believe good clothing should be good for more than just how it looks.

Materials

We work primarily with natural and low-impact fibres — linen, organic cotton, and bamboo. These materials are renewable, biodegradable, and gentler on the environment than conventional synthetics.

Linen is one of the most sustainable fibres available. It requires minimal water and no irrigation in most climates, and every part of the flax plant is used in production.

Bamboo grows rapidly without pesticides or fertiliser and regenerates naturally after harvest. Our bamboo fabrics are processed using a closed-loop system that recycles water and solvents, minimising waste.

Our organic cotton is certified to GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), meaning no toxic chemicals are used at any stage of production — from the field to the finished garment.

Production

We work with a small number of long-term manufacturing partners, all of whom we've visited in person. We prioritise factories with fair labour certifications, safe working conditions, and transparent supply chains.

Our production runs are intentionally sized. We'd rather sell out than overproduce, and we don't use overstock as a reason to discount indefinitely.

Packaging

All orders ship in recycled and recyclable mailers. Tissue, stickers, and inserts are plastic-free. We've removed single-use polybags from our packaging entirely.

Gift packaging uses FSC-certified materials and water-based inks.

Honest About Where We Are

We're not perfect, and we won't claim to be. Shipping has a carbon footprint. Natural fibres still use land and water. There are parts of our supply chain we're still working to improve.

What we commit to is being honest about tradeoffs, making better choices where we can, and not using sustainability language as a marketing tool.

Care & Longevity

The most sustainable garment is one you keep wearing. Our pieces are designed to last — in construction, in fabric quality, and in style. We publish care guides for every material we use to help you get the most out of what you buy.

We're also working on a take-back programme for end-of-life garments. More on that soon.
